(MONROEVILLE, PA – May 25, 2011) Three abstracts co-authored by RJ Lee Group scientists have been accepted for presentation at MS&T’11 – Materials Science & Technology 2011 Conference & Exhibition to be held October 16-20 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center. Dr. Jacqueline Sturgeon, Materials Scientist, will deliver a presentation entitled “Micro- and nano-structures of I-III-VI2-based materials prepared via solvothermal processes,”and visiting professor, Dr. Jennifer Aitken will speak on “Crystal structure and surface analysis of diamond-like semiconductor single crystals.” Both Dr. Sturgeon and Professor Aitken, along with RJ Lee Group Material Scientist Dr. Kristin Bunker and Advanced Manufacturing Manager, Dr. Karen Harris, contributed to a third abstract to be presented at this same symposium entitled “Structure, morphology and oxidation state determination of iron-substituted CuInS2 materials prepared by high-temperature solid-state synthesis.”
The MS&T is a partnership of four leading materials societies – ACerS, AIST, ASM and TMS and brings together scientists, engineers, students, policy makers, suppliers and more to discuss current research and technical applications, and to shape the future of materials science and technology.
