Lindsay M. Heilman, RJ Lee Group Corporate QA Analyst, successfully completed ISO/IEC 17025 Lead Assessor training and has received certificates for completion of this 37-hour course. Completion of this training provides Ms. Heilman with a solid understanding of this ISO standard and the background to plan and lead an ISO 17025 audit as well as to understand the international schemes for laboratory accreditation. As part of a continuing program of improvement, RJ Lee Group’s Criminal Forensics department is currently working towards compliance to the ISO/IEC 17025:2005 standard and plans to apply for ASCLD/LAB-International Accreditation in the near future. Ms. Heilman’s training as an ISO/IEC 17025:2005 Lead Assessor will be an integral step en route to meeting the international accreditation requirements of ASCLD/LAB.
