RJLG Names New COO
RJ Lee's Group's (RJLG) President and Chief Executive
Officer (CEO) Dr. Richard J. Lee announced today the naming of
Charles Spangler, Jr. as new Chief Operating Officer (COO). Former
COO and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) David James will continue in
his role as RJLG's CFO, as well as assume the Senior Vice President
(SVP) of Operations & CFO position within a spin-off,
Delta-Energy, LLC. These changes are part of the stepping stones
needed in building a base for RJLG becoming a more formally
structured Company. As such, Delta-Energy's patented tire recycling
technology has opened the door to rapid growth and prime market
positioning in the rubber industry. Mr. Spangler was formerly
the Director of Operations at RJLG and a member of the corporate
decision-making team. For the last eight years, he has been the
program manager for a super alloy powder metal evaluation project
that qualifies powder metal lots for use in critical jet aircraft
engine parts. He has also taken the lead to develop new, recently
patented technology that will be extremely beneficial in future
powder metal evaluations projects. Additionally, Mr. Spangler
continues to oversee an ongoing Department of Defense project that
he began managing at the project's initiation in 1987. The goal of
the project was to design, construct and operate a
computer-controlled, fully integrated life test system to evaluate
parts used in missile systems. He has guided the project through a
variety of stages from life-testing to analytical studies, research
and development efforts and equipment design. Prior to his joining
the company in 1987, he spent 20 years with U.S. Steel Corporation
as a research scientist.
Mr. James is formerly the COO and CFO at RJLG. He has more than 15
years of professional experience in financial and operations
management activities for a wide variety of industries. His
financial management experience ranges from non-profit
organizations to the transportation industry. He has lead the
overall financial, business development, and operational management
of RJLG, which includes five nationwide branch locations, several
subsidiary organizations, and over 200 employees. Prior to joining
RJLG, Mr. James held positions ranging from director of finance for
a city to a regional accounting manger for a company with revenues
in excess of $250 million dollars with over 9,000 employees. He has
worked for both large and small companies in a variety of
industries.
Delta-Energy, a premier resource recovery company, provides
alternative, higher value solutions for tire recycling. That
includes the recovery of basic raw materials and fuels, reduction
of carbon footprint for already heavily carbon dependent companies
in the polymer industry, and a means of meeting customer demands
for recycled material content.
RJLG is an organization of scientific experts who provide
analytical and consulting services based on extensive knowledge of
materials characterization, analytical instrumentation and software
development. Leading organizations come to RJLG for more than data
and information; they come for an innovative approach and technical
solutions developed through our commitment to quality, reliability
and customer satisfaction. The Company is built on a culture of
continuous improvement, constantly developing and implementing new

business. This philosophy has materialized into a wide range of

information to customers. RJLG has an established and successful
track record developing and commercializing leading-edge
technologies and managing large-scale analytical efforts.
