Job Summary:

This position is a software development position responsible for a laboratory information management enterprise that consists of several legacy and "in development" systems with diverse architectures and data storage implementations. The incumbent will have hands on involvement in all disciplines of the software development process and all layers of the software architecture with particular emphasis on database development and maintenance.

Responsibilities:

• Programming, database development, DBA support of test and production environments.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Minimum five years professional experience implementing mission critical, enterprise-scale, data centric applications
• Minimum five years RDBMS DBA experience (SQL Server preferred)
• Minimum five years java/j2ee programming experience
• Excellent Object Oriented Design and Programming skills with UML experience
• Object Relation Mapping (ORM) tools experience (e.g. Hibernate, Toplink, etc.) 
• Direct laboratory information management system experience a plus
• springframework experience a plus
• .NET experience a plus
