Job Summary:

• The Scientist I position collaborates with other technical associates in research to perform scientific investigations. The specific primary duty of this position is to analyze, interpret, and report data for a variety of samples using analytical instrumentation and techniques.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):

• Mid-career professional to act in an analytical as well as supervisory capacity in the organic laboratory.
• Participate in the daily laboratory operations that include sample preparation and analysis, as required.
• Interact with our clients to ensure that their sample analysis requirements are met.
• Assist in staff training and method development

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Chemistry.
• 5 plus years of experience in a laboratory environment.
• Hands on analytical experience with a wide range of instrumentation, including, but not limited to: High Pressure Liquid Chromatography and Gas Chromatography, Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry, and High Resolution Mass Spectrometry.
• Experience with a wide range of environmental and industrial hygiene matrices and techniques.
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve.
• Strong orientation towards teamwork and mentoring.
• Must have good organizational skills and ability to perform efficiently multiple tasks.
