Job Summary:

• The individual in this position will be part of a team of scientists that prepare, analyze, and report on samples analyzed via x-ray diffraction and x-ray fluorescence techniques.  Samples typically include air and bulk materials samples requiring characterization and quantification of crystalline phases.
• Primary duties include interfacing with clients, participating in analytical and process teams, review and interpretation of data, and writing reports.  This individual may also be tasked with preparation and delivery of presentations and writing technical articles for publication.  The individual may lead project teams and be involved with the training and mentoring of laboratory staff.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• BS in Materials Science or Geology with 5+ years professional experience.
• Experience in XRD/XRF instrumentation and analysis.
• Strong MS Office applications experience.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills; prior publication experience desired.
