June 2009 Newsletter: RJLG Welcomes New President and COO Alex Sciulli Dr. Richard Lee has announced the appointment of Alex Sciulli as president and chief operating officer (COO) of RJ Lee Group, Inc (RJLG). The appointment of Mr. Sciulli comes at an exciting time for RJLG. The company recently won a major Mission Support Contract in partnership with Lockheed Martin, and Mr. Sciulli's reputation for propelling organizational growth should pair well with this new venture. In addition, Mr. Sciulli has closely analyzed and found strong potential in several of RJLG's core industry areas including pharmaceuticals, criminal forensics, and materials analysis. May 2009 Newsletter: RJ Lee Group Teams with Lockheed Martin, Wins $3 Billion Mission Support Contract (MSC) at Hanford Site RJ Lee Group (RJLG) is one of several pre-selected subcontractors participating in a multi-billion dollar contract to provide support services for the environmental cleanup mission at Hanford nuclear reservation in the State of Washington. U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) announced on April 28, 2009, that Mission Support Alliance, LLC, has been selected as the mission support contractor for DOE's Hanford Site in southeastern Washington State. The contract is a cost-plus award-fee contract valued at approximately $3 billion over ten years (a five-year base period with options to extend it for up to another five years). November 2008 Newsletter: RJLG Receives $2.5 Million Towards Tire Recycling Plant Construction in Greene County:WAYNESBURG, PA - RJLG has received $2.5 million from the state's Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program to be used towards building a cutting-edge tire depolymerization plant in Cumberland Township. During a presentation on October 24 at RJLG’s EverGreene Technology Park facility, Dr. Richard Lee, president, accepted a ceremonial check for monies that will be applied toward construction of the plant at Paisley Industrial Park. August 2008 Newsletter: Lead Detection and Analysis of Synthetic Grass and Artificial TurfRJLG began an artificial turf sampling program when New Jersey announced their concern to the CPSC. Through the program, we have seen the total level of lead reach as high as 7,000 mg/kg in turf: an extremely high amount that approaches percentage value. RJLG has also determined that a small percentage of the total is potentially transferable and is potentially leachable. Storm water runoff could lead to a migration of lead to surrounding soils, likely requiring excavation, encapsulation or use restrictions. Click here to read the newsletter in full |

RJLG Explores Nano-World with Hitachi s-5500RJ Lee Group is currently hosting the Hitachi S-5500, an electron microscope that combines the best features of scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and scanning transmission electron microscopy (STEM). This instrument has the capacity to gather information on samples that single standard microscopy techniques – such as TEM and SEM – are not able to accomplish when used alone. Spring 2008 Newsletter: Can We Ban Asbestos in America? The word “Asbestos” invokes very strong emotional responses in many Americans. Since the mid-1970’s, the fear over the effects of potential asbestos exposure in schools to our children became one of the most newsworthy and dominant public indoor environmental concerns. This concern eventually led to the ban of asbestos-containing products in public schools. An entirely new industry sprung up in the mid-1980’s for asbestos testing and removal of asbestos-containing materials, not only from schools, but eventually from public and commercial buildings as well. Winter 2008 Newsletter: RJLG Group Names New COO & Manager of Corporate Chemistry RJ Lee's Group's (RJLG) President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Dr. Richard J. Lee announced the naming of Charles Spangler, Jr. as new Chief Operating Officer (COO). Former COO and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) David James will continue in his role as RJLG's CFO, as well as assume the Senior Vice President (SVP) of Operations & CFO position within a spin-off, Delta-Energy, LLC. These changes are part of the stepping stones needed in building a base for RJLG becoming a more formally structured Company.
