The Spectroscopy Society of Pittsburgh (SSP) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of science education.
Each year the SSP partners with the Society for Analytical Chemists of Pittsburgh (SACP) to host The Pittsburgh Conference on Analytical Chemistry and Applied Spectroscopy, or PITTCON®. This annual conference on analytical chemistry and laboratory science, held each spring, has become the premier global science event... featuring more than 1,800 scientific papers, more than 2,500 exhibit booths and as many as 25,000 attendees from 80 countries each year.
