Product Defect Identification: Processing of Polymeric Materials
A producer of injection molded components was experiencing product defects in their safety apparel manufacturing operation. Failures were identified during routine QA/QC testing of the product. Results of the analysis were used to optimize processing parameters to control the microstructural development of the material.
