Process Troubleshooting for Time Release capsules
Certain pharmaceutical products have medication release rates which must be predictable. RJ Lee Group (RJLG) examined various layer thicknesses of encapsulants which dictates release rate. To test the thickness, medication particles were embedded into the capsules. Cross sections were prepared (Ultra Microtome) and RJLG employed SEM techniques to measure the encapsulant thickness. This provided data with accurate measurement of the encapsulant of the medication. Related Files
