Cracks formed in concrete swimming pools can cause pools to lose water, heat and chemicals. The leaking water may also undermine pool components and wash away fill dirt.  For several clients, RJ Lee Group (RJLG) experts have identified the causes of the defects and assessed their impact on the integrity of the concrete. We have performed petrographic analysis including visual observations, stereo-microscopy, light optical microscopy and scanning electron microscopy with energy dispersive x-ray spectroscopy (SEM-EDS) and wet chemistry.  By identifying the source of the problem, RJLG has developed plans for corrective action, preventing further damage and costs.
