Thermal Analysis

Expansion and shrinkage due to thermal conditions can reduce the strength of concrete and related construction materials.  There are several methods of thermal analysis which can help predict the durability and usefulness of construction materials as well as determine the impact such thermal conditions may have had on in-place materials.  These methods include:

  • Adiabatic Calorimetry
  • Thermal Expansion Analysis
  • Time of Set Testing
