USP 797 is a sterile compounding preparation standard for pharmacies designed to reduce the transmission of infections to patients and control exposure to pharmacy workers. It is being promulgated to insure contamination free compounding. As part of a larger infection control program, the standard demands strict evaluation and testing of the hospital environment. The guidelines of USP 797 call for changes in the pharmaceutical compounding of sterile preparations in health-care institutions. RJLG’s experts are nationally recognized as leaders in contaminant assessment and analytical testing.
We execute the "Formula for Compliance" to meet the new standards and long-term procedures to manage the process.

As with most industries, health care workers can be exposed to environmental risks due to any pollutants present in the workplace. The standards for industrial hygiene and occupational health are rigorous and far-reaching. RJ Lee Group can perform the analyses necessary to assess compliance with these standards. Our experts perform air and surface testing in critical areas of hospitals to assess employee exposure to hazardous chemicals or pharmaceutical compounds.
