Detection of product defects during manufacture is vital to product development and quality control. RJLG serves our clientele through the application of multiple analytical techniques for defect identification and source determination, including but not limited to:

RJLG’s experts work with our clientele to evaluate raw materials sources at the material acceptance stage. While most recent success involves the application of CCSEM techniques to the evaluation of powder metal adherence to acceptance criteria, RJLG can apply the multitude of materials characterization techniques available in-house at RJLG to assess raw materials of all kinds. Analyses include, but are not limited to, chemical composition, microstructural analysis, material morphology, size distribution, and structural or chemical purity.  Our staff works closely with the client to establish parameters that the raw materials must meet to be accepted.
