Contamination and other quality control issues have a profound impact on the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Our technical staff, with an adherence to the highest analytical standards, has the experience and laboratory technology essential to serve the growing needs of these communities. We consider customer relationships and discretion our number one priority.

To ensure the performance of products, an accurate representation of particle size is essential to the manufacturing process. Numerous methods have been utilized to obtain this information, some are more robust than others. RJLG utilizes computer controlled scanning electron microscopy (CCSEM) which is a fast and efficient way to obtain morphological and chemical information. It is not limited y the refractive index of the material being analyzed or the light scattering properties of the sample.
CCSEM is a number counting method. After assessing the size of the individual particles, the measurements are used to assemble the particle size distribution. CCSEM is able to measure the size of individual particles in agglomerations, whereas laser diffraction cannot. |
