Mr. David Crawford is the Director of the Technical Consulting Group at RJ Lee Group (RJLG). He has more than 30 years experience in creating & managing high-tech businesses; building company growth and revenue; managing sales & marketing; overseeing product expansion; supervising the manufacturing, purchasing and engineering processes; and developing and maintaining domestic & international relationships. He has been involved in many high-profile projects, including: project oversight of a $70M environmental assessment and remediation project at Ground Zero after 9/11 disaster, financial and budget management of several large remediation projects in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina, and the commercialization of a novel scanning electron microscope (SEM).
Prior, Mr. Crawford was the managing director for his own consulting firm, DAC Consulting Services, providing assistance on business development, sales/marketing, commercialization and project management activities to the analytical service and instrumentation markets. As president and CEO, he was involved with the start-up up ASPEX LLC, an assembly-based manufacturing, design and distribution company specializing in the development and sale of electron and X-ray beam based instruments. At Leybold Vacuum Products Inc., LAS Group, a sales and service distribution company for surface analysis systems, he was the national sales manager. He was also involved in the start-up of RJ Lee Group, Inc.
Mr. Crawford is a member of American Vacuum Society, American Society of Metals, American Society for the Advancement of Science, Microbeam Analysis Society, and co-founder of the Instrumentation and Analysis Society.
