As an experienced petrographer, his work includes analyzing over 20,000 thin sections of concrete. He has spearheaded the development of techniques for optical petrography and scanning electron microscopy for the examination of concrete. In addition, he has independently developed new methods for assessing the properties and quality of concrete. |
